POSGO Device Setup — Dejavoo P8

Purpose

Step-by-step instructions for configuring a new Dejavoo P8 terminal with POSGO (MyBusinessHub/MyTakeaway).

  1. Configure a new TPN in the IPOS portal for the merchant that you are setting up a POSGO device for.

    1. Within the integration section of the ‘parameters’ for the device, we will want to make sure that the Type of Integration is set to ‘SPIN’ and the Spin Mode is set to ‘Cloud’.

      1. We will want to double check that the ‘Auth Key’ and ‘Auth Token’ have been generated.

  2. Once the TPN has been created and configured in the IPOS portal, we will then want to configure the device within BOBCRM for the associated account. This process will be the same as it is for any other TPN.

    1. Select the account in BOBCRM.

    2. Select the Info option in the navigation bar and then ‘PDQ’ under Billing.

    3. Select ‘PDQ Legacy View’

    4. ‘+ Add PDQ’

    5. You will then want to configure the Dejavoo device

      1. PDQ Type - DEJAVOO

      2. Payment Mode - PDQ Terminal

      3. Serial Number - This will be pulled from the dejavoo device where you are setting up the TPN and POSGO functionality.

      4. TPN - This will be pulled from the IPOS portal

      5. Payment Type - You will want to set ‘Credit’ and ‘Debit’

      6. Printer - Set to ‘Yes’. If it is set to ‘No’ then receipts will not print on this device, even if they are configured within the parameters of the device.

      7. Signature - Set to ‘Yes’. If it is set to ‘No’ then it will not prompt for a signature, even if it is required.

      8. Token & Auth Key - Both will be pulled from the integration section of the ‘parameters’ for the device.

    6. Once all of the information has been entered, you will then hit ‘Add’

  3. Next, you will want to download the DvPayLite app and configure the TPN.

    1. When you first turn on the screen you will see a black background and the Dejavoo logo.

      1. Swipe Up to view all of the apps downloaded on the device

    2. First, you will want to make sure the wifi is connected and the time on the device is correct.

      1. Select the ‘settings’ app (gear icon with green background)

      2. Select Network & internet and select the wifi you want to connect.

        1. Once configured, hit the back arrow icon at the bottom of the screen.

      3. You will then want to scroll to the bottom until you see the ‘System’ option.

        1. Select Date & Time

        2. Select ‘Use Network-provided time’

          1. Make sure the first option ‘Use network-provided time’ is enabled.

      4. You will then hit the back arrow icon at the bottom of the screen until you are back at the app screen.

      5. Select the DvStore app

        1. Hit the hamburger icon in the top right corner.

        2. Select ‘Download Anchor App’ - This will download the DvPayLite app.

          1. If the time is not configured correctly, the device will not allow you to download this app.

      6. Once downloaded, Input the TPN # associated with the device and select ‘Download Parameter.

      7. Once the TPN has successfully been downloaded, you will want to go back to the main app screen.

        1. Pull down from the top of the screen. You will see an option that says ‘Manage’. Select that.

        2. You will be on a screen that says ‘Notifications’ select the back arrow icon at the top of the screen next to the title ‘Notifications’. This will take you back to the app screen.

  4. You will then want to go back to the IPOS portal to add the MyBusiness Hub/MyTakeaway (POSGO) app to the device.

    1. In the IPOS portal you will want to go to select ‘Merchants’ from the side nav bar. You will then want to search for the DBA you are configuring the POSGO for, select the DBA, hit the dropdown next to the TPN that we have created for the POSGO and select ‘Assign Build’.

    2. On the ‘Assign Build’ page you will want to select ‘Add/Manage App’ in the ‘Value-Added Apps’ section.

    3. You will now see a popup with a list of apps. You will want to enable the MyBusinessHub/MyTakeaway app and make sure the version is set to 1621. I would also recommend enabling the launch on restart flag.

      1. The launch on restart flag will automatically launch the POSGO app when the device is rebooted.

    4. Scroll to the bottom of the popup and select ‘+ Update’.

    5. Under the Value-Added Apps section, you should now see the app with a message that says ‘Yet to Download’.

  5. Now you will want to download the MyBusinessHub/MyTakeaway (POSGO) App to the device. Per the last instruction in step 3, the device should still be on the ‘app’ screen’. If it is not, you will want to get back to that screen.

    1. You will want to select the DvStore App.

    2. Select the Hamburger icon in the top right corner and select ‘Check Value Add Apps’.

    3. Once selected, the MyBusinessHub/Takeaway (POSGO) app should automatically start downloading.  Once done, you should be taken to the login of the app.

  6. Configuring the MyBusinessHub/MyTakeaway (POSGO) App

    1. Input the phone number associated with the account. If setting up for the client, we may want to update the account in BOB with your phone number and then switch back after configuring. An OTP will be sent to the number that was entered.

    2. If the number is tied to more than one account, it will ask you to select the account.

    3. Select the Hamburger icon next to the account  name in the top right corner of the screen.

    4. Select Setting

    5. Select Store Settings and scroll towards the bottom

      1. Print Table Receipt from Epos - Make sure this is enabled

      2. Payments PBL & QR Enabled - Make sure this is disabled

    6. Scroll back towards the top of the store settings and select staff restricted mode and set to only restaurant. You will be asked to enter in the passcode tied to the user.

      1. Once this is enabled basic staff members will only be able to take table orders on the device.

      2. The user icon is available at the top of the screen and the manager can select the icon and input their passcode in order to access the device settings and other functionality on the device.

        1. However, they will need to go back to the settings and store settings and then set the staff restricted mode back to only restaurant.
