How to setup dietary preferences?

• Under control panel, go to the Profile tab 

• Scroll down and find Dietary Prefs

• Mouse over the Dietary Prefs and click on  that appears on top right corner

• Check-in the boxes under Dietary Preferences tab that you want to assign to your Menu items

• Scroll down the scrollbar slider and hit save to save the preferences

How to tag these preferences to your Menu items?

• Go to the Menu tab and further go to the Menu section

• Now choose from the categories- Specialty Pizzas, Sandwiches, etc.

• Click on any Menu item (here, for example let’s choose Vegetarian Pizza under Specialty Pizzas)

• Go to Edit

• Click on Vegetarian Pizza

• Choose from the preferences listed and check-in those boxes under Dietary Preferences and hit Save

Note: You’ll only see those dietary preferences that you’ve set up in your profile, the filtered choices and not the complete list.

How can customers filter the Menu items based on their dietary preferences?

• There are two ways the customers can find food items based on their dietary preferences:

  • Look through the tagged items in the Menu

  • Manual search: Filter-based and Text based

      Look through the tagged items in the Menu

• Hover over the abbreviated tags and their full forms will display

For example, in the following screenshot the abbreviated terms denotes:

CM- Contains Milk

V- Vegetarian 

CB- Contains Beef

H- Halal

  Manual search: Filter-based and Text-based

• Hit the search button

For filter-based search

• Go to Dietary preferences > Hit drop-down button

• Check-in the preferences boxes

Note: only those dietary preferences will be visible here that you’ve filtered in your dietary tab

• Based on your filters, the Menu items will appear below

For text-based search

• Hit the left search box and type your dietary preferences

Also: Hit close to reload the entire menu with all the items
