Setting up Contactless Delivery

Setting up Contactless Delivery

More restaurants are focusing on takeout and delivery as an option to serve their communities, as dining service becomes limited. However, when a guest receives their food, they may want to limit personal contact. For this reason, Zuppler has created a Contactless Delivery option.

What is Contactless Delivery?

When a guest is ordering for delivery, they can choose to pick a Contactless Delivery Option that will include:

  • Call when you arrive and meet me outside
  • Leave order at door and ring doorbell
  • Leave order at door and call to notify
  • Deliver to my door

In this way, a concerned guest can avoid being in contact with the driver, and still order food from their preferred restaurant.

How to enable: In the control panel go to configurations, click on delivery, edit delivery, check "Enable custom drop off instructions!" and save. Contactless Delivery is now enabled.

In the menu, the guest is prompted to select an “order type”.

When delivery is selected the guest should select “add new address”.

When 'add new address' is selected the guest is prompted to enter their delivery address and has the opportunity to select a contactless delivery option and add additional special instructions if needed.

The contactless delivery options are:

  • Call when you arrive and meet me outside
  • Leave order at door and ring doorbell
  • Leave order at door and call to notify
  • Deliver to my door

The contactless delivery option is displayed in the CS APP under delivery and is labeled "Instructions"

The contactless delivery option is also displayed in the emails received by the restaurant and guest.
