Discounts and promo code valid dates are determined by the date and time the customer places their order and not the date and time the order is for. As long as the customer places their order during the valid date and time, the date and time of their actual order does not apply.
For example, the discount is valid from August 3rd - August 9th.
- On August 6th, a customer scheduled a future order for August 11th. Because the order went into the system on August 6th the discount is still valid.
- On August 1st, a customer placed a future order for August 4th. Even though the actual order date is scheduled for August 4th (which is within the valid dates), the order was placed and went into the system on August 1st which is outside the discount valid date, so the discount would not be valid for redemption.
