Require Cross Street.



Setup

Go to Control Panel--->Configuration--->Settings--->Edit Settings


After clicking on edit settings on the right side of your screen scroll down and check the box “Require Cross Street”.


This is very popular in cities like New York, as cross streets are required in Big cities.



How this works from a customer's standpoint




If this is not checked then when the user is entering the address there is no field to enter cross street as shown below.                      


If this is checked then the user will see the cross street field and this is a mandatory field (see below), if the user leaves this blank then the system will not allow the user to proceed further.
